My job as a front of house receptionist is to check in guests when they arrive, and be the friendly face you see when you walk through the doors, I’m available to assist guests with their problems within what I’m capable and allowed to do.
Definitely learned new skills while I’ve been in training, such as the different legislations that have been put in place to protect the company as well as our guests in our care.
It’s enjoyable, you can take your time with it, it seems almost common sense once you learn it and it becomes ingrained into your daily workday routine.
Very organised, very easy to understand and navigate.
A lot, we have a company learning program for each member of staff employed by the company so I also manage to learn while I’m in doing that too.
A lot or friendly support, if I need any assistance there are plenty of resources for me to use and my trainer is available to help me out with any problems I find while learning.
Very much, it’s engrained into my work life to the T. What I learn applies to situations I will experience at the workplace, or have yet to experience.
There are charity fundraisers that we organise occasionally to help support the charity we have partnered with.
Yes
Very friendly staff and a very real experience for those wanting to go into customer service.
Be kind, and listen to what the job entails, what skills you have and how you can apply that to the job.
