As a procurement apprentice I lead and assist with liaising between the company and potential suppliers. I also amend, renew and upload contracts.
I have developed skills including communicating face to face and over email, as well as the language I use. I have also learnt how to liaise and negotiate.
I really enjoy this program as I have been able to learn whilst doing a job and interacting and learning from my team.
Other than a change in coach half way through the program, it has been well organised.
I receive a great amount of support from my employer, he ensures I am learning every day and feel confident in my job.
My new training provider is always on hand to help whenever I need, this allows me to feel greatly supported.
I learn how to develop my skills further when trying to reach a goal set through my qualification.
I have been involved in plenty of extra-curricular activities both during lunch as well as after work. These are not only fun and a great time to bond with my team, but also seem to be a great networking activity.

M&G is a great place to work. I have had the opportunity to work close to my home, as well as in the centre of London. My team are so supportive and friendly and I felt welcome straight away.
I would advise that they be themselves, get stuck into as many opportunities as possible and also network as much as they can.
