Involves assisting my respective placement managers with tasks that I am assigned, these are all specifically chosen to help me meet criteria required to advance in my apprenticeship
At the start of my apprenticeship I learned skills in, electronics, aircraft fitting, business improvement techniques and computer aided design. while on my placements I have developed communication and team working skills.
Its all a very new experience to me and I thoroughly enjoy learning new skills and knowledge every day.
From start to finish the layout and structure of the apprenticeship is made very clear. everyone is made aware of their path and guidance is always available on this
I feel as though the wellbeing of the employees is top priority, there are programmes in place and mental health first aiders to assist people who need help. As an apprentice everyone is keen to teach you new things and help you develop.
They instructors are very patient and provide support daily.
I feel that I have a larger arsenal of knowledge and practical skills specific to my field which allows me to assist my placement managers to a higher standard and on more tasks.
There are a large variety of groups and teams to get involved in through work with great opportunities to meet new people.
