The role involves supporting commercial customers with a turnover of up to £2 million with general banking queries, providing lending facilities and onboarding. The role allows you to network in your local community to win new business and complete quarterly exchanges.
I have learnt new skills around team development, coaching and ways to focus on self development
I enjoyed the apprenticeship programme and feel it gave me a great grounding for my career at HSBC
I feel the programme lacked structure and as a result meant apprentices and their LM' had different interpretations of allotted time for studies, objectives and what it involved.
I had minimal support from my employer in the sense of help with the apprenticeship but with regards to other development areas, my managers were great
Minimal. The support was irregular and at one point there was confusion on who our talent coach even was as someone who left the company contact us
I wouldn't say it affected my role.
Networking is part of my role but no other social activates
Yes
Great company to develop numerous skills and has many different routes for career paths
To look at development opportunities outside of your immediate circle
