1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role comprises of creating, organsiing and implementing client focused events to support our Premeir segment with a view to showcasing our proprosition and also creating income for the bank. I'm also responsible for creating events that support attraction of new clients and also rewarding exisiting clients.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've been able to develop my influence and negociation skills and understanding whats important to the bank, client and colleague.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I'm enjoying it alot at present, however Covid-19 is making it challenging at present. So having to do everything digitally, without the physcial human presence can be tough.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

Its been very well organised inspite of the challenges and everything is still working according to plan.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is extremely supportive and is always on hand to support and check in on my well being and progress. Taking a healthy interest in my progress and asking what if any challenges there are.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The MMU is excellent with the skills coach and also the recordings of session along with check ins as well so impressive

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have recently been part of a restructure so the use of this programme will greatly benefit my role and its one of the reasons i applied to be part of the course.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are but with Covid -19 these have been restricted to online acitivities

Yes

I have enjoyed a successful career at Barclays and its a great place to work with fantastic leaders who want to see you succeed. I've benefitted and i'm sure that others will as well.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?

Know exactly what you can contribute to the company Know your strengths and be mindful of the areas you need to develop and also know how the company will benefit you as an individual too.
