I am an agricultural relationship manager, so build relationships with clients and support them in their financial needs. Daily task include carrying out annual reviews with customers, writing credit reports and general admin.
Skills i have developed are credit lending skills, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
I enjoy the job part of the program and the day to day customer facing stuff. The degree is tough but will be worth it, the apprenticeship side lacks clarity and instruction.
The job side is organised and structure i have received internal credit trainging and a small portfolio of my own. The appreticeship side lacks clarity around the EPA and what is expected including completion dates.
My line manager is excellent in supporting me.
The support from knowledgepool is poor. There is no clarity or guidance around what is expected from us and end dates. We have asked several times for guidance and are yet to receive it.
The degree is good for the overall banking knowledge but does not apply to the day to day role of the bank. The degree modules do give a good understanding of the business and the whole bank.
As a team we make an effort to socialise together.
Yes
As an employer they are supportive but the programme is poorly organised as whole from the apprenticeship side.
Make sure you speak up and look for the answers to your questions surrounding the apprenticeship.
