Helping users mostly based in Liverpool with IT issues and setting up of new equipment such as monitors, computers etc.
Yes. My interpersonal skills have improved as well as my knowledge of different software and hardware configurations used by different people to perform given tasks.
The programme was very enjoyable as it was a career that I wanted to pursue and the apprenticeship gave me the change to do so as well as gain experience which is vital to progressing into different roles in IT whether that is at DWF or a different company.
The programme was very well organised to help me learn as well as grow as a person and in my knowledge.
There was a lot of support from the employer who would let me take certain tasks so that the skills I needed to show in my coursework could be completed. Also allowing me the time to work on the coursework to ensure it got completed.
I received a lot of support from my training provider and especially the learning coaches I had who would frequently get in contact to check how I was and how I was progressing whether it was when I was on a course or just working normally.
It has helped a lot as it has given me more knowledge of what can be done in certain circumstances as well as different troubleshooting techniques that can be used to diagnose problems.
There are lots of extra-curricular activities that are organised by people within the Liverpool office as well as outside the Liverpool office from all different teams within the business.
