I am deployed to 3 different functions within 3 different domains, I have to take minutes and send out actions, as well as planning meetings and sending out invites. I look after the Newsletter for a function in my domain.
I have developed my minute taking and learnt what actions are, I have learnt how to use multiple functions in Microsoft, and how to send out an email with a distribution list.
I enjoy my programme and the team who I sit with, it is educational and I feel like I am constantly learning.
My programme at the beginning was a bit dysfunctional, nobody really knew what was happening, however as we all settle into the apprenticeship, we are all learning how to function through working from home, which makes it that bit more challenging.
I receive a lot of support from DE&S, with regards to my job, my apprenticeship, and any issues that I may have.
I receive a lot of support, and when I have to present something to a group of people, they are always interested with what I have to explain to them.
My qualification helps my with my role, to ensure that my business skills are in keeping with DE&S.
There are a lot of professional networking scheme across DE&S, as well as sports days
Yes
They are a good employer, with a good scheme, pension and nice people.
Don’t always expect an answer straight away from people, but if you ever need help, they’ll always give you it.
