My experience as an apprentice was great Babington had a great online learning programme and Pearson has a superb internal apprenticeship programme which has given me lots of opportunities I am also an ambassador for my location of work and have been involved in external apprenticeship meetings.
I have developed Project management skills which I did not have before but I also gained some skills such as presentations and public speaking which are great to have for any job
I really enjoyed how Pearson has structure the apprenticeship programme throughout the whole company in the UK. It is so good that colleagues in the USA have asked how they can set up something similar
The training programme was very flexible with online learning, webinar and group sessions as well as some face to face activities The trainer was excellent, always available and very supportive all the way to the end
All the managers I had while on the apprenticeship were very supportive of the programme and very aware of their involvement. Pearson believes in Apprenticeships so much it has established its own internal programme
Full training, guidance and support was provided by Babington all the way to the exam.
The qualification was an important step for my apprenticeship and gave me the skills for mu EPA
I attended a few external meeting and events with suppliers, customers and students which could become future apprentices
