Receptionist and duty manager. I am responsible for checking guests into the hotel and departing them on leaving. I deal with all front desk questions and when on duty manager shift also deal with any complaints that may arise. Banking, fire safety checks, breakfast shift duties etc.
I’ve learnt to engage with guests and to handle complaints satisfactorily and have gained an insight into the business through stocks and the company co-pilot system
I love it. My tutor Mary has been fantastic and has adapted the course to meet my needs through sending workbooks as I struggle to concentrate online.
Very organised. Mary is very organised and shows me how far I have come and what will be the next module etc.
My employer is very supportive
I had extra support from Nyla who helped me refresh my mathematics and was very good. I have passed my Maths now which is a massive relief.
It is a reminder of what I have learned through the course which involves every aspect of the work that I do
