helping customers with their motor insurance making sure everything is correct.
Customer service skills, listening skills, prioritising skills.
I enjoy the programme a lot due to having amazing work colleagues and being able to help customers when they need it. Also, learning about generic insurance helps to understand other departments and what they have to offer too.
it is structured well as we get time off the phone to revise and get the support for the apprenticeship. As well we have meetings every month to keep on track and to see where we need to improve and how.
I receive support from my employer as they give me time off the phone to revise my books for the apprenticeship and we have access to emailing other apprentices and our tutor when we need their support.
They give me things to work on and areas to improve to help me achieve the best outcome possible. They give us monthly mock exams to see where we are and what needs improving which helps me to focus.
I get a better understanding of other departments and insurance areas as the book given helps to provide information not just in my insurance area but in others too that we off at Direct Line.
We have Yamma where we can connect to others at Direct Line.
