My job involves being punctual and being able to work to a targeted deadline. In my role I am encourage to work and figure out the problem by myself but always ask for help when needed. Along side this I am also able to have fun while learning an important trade.
In this job I have learned so many transferable skills such as being able to use different types of tools and and also different types of machinery and how to operate them safely. As well as all of this in 6 months I noticed a dramatic increase in my knowledge of the automotive industry and thats a very valuable skill in its own merit.
Throughout my apprenticeship I have throughly enjoyed every aspect of my programme to the people on my course which have made my time even more enjoyable as we have all formed a really good friendship and I know I have made some friends for life, and to top this off the AA go above and beyond for the staff as they provide so much in help for their staff and it really is a leading company in employee welfare.
The apprenticeship program I am on is amazingly structured, there is a large amount of work while at collage for the training but all the work is always complete and we’re always able to get the help needed if we don’t understand something and the knowledge of the staff at hand is exceptional. The ability to learn and actually enjoy going to the training centre is great.
The support provided by the company is unparalleled to any company I have work previously, they have an unrivalled support team that are always at hand to make sure you have the best experience at work and that you can achieve the best that you can possibly can as the want you to achieve the most you can.
While training I receive an unbelievable amount of support from being able to email the tutors about any issues in having to then also having a review in which the can visit the work place and are constantly there to help guide you through the course keeping you on track to achieve the best possible results ready to take the EPA.
They are always helping to Perform better in your role by giving you a different insight on how to approach different jobs and helping you formulate your own style of working to make sure that you can create a routing in which allows you to make sure you hitting every aspect of your work.
As I am aware there are no sports teams, however if they did make some sports teams I’m sure there would be a few people interested in such things. As for social activities I am aware of some events that do take place with PL’s and there teams and there is also a Christmas function for the end of year.
Yes
The AA for me has been such a pleasurable place to work and develop with all the support available and the general workforce is exceptional while working along side qualified road side technicians the way in which they can approach a job and within minutes of being at a job diagnose a problem of the vehicle to the fixing it is outstanding and a great way to learn.
Be ready to have a large amount of work that needs to be completed regularly as by doing this can actually make the job so much easier by literally doing a couple hours every other day, aswell as reducing the work load it can also be a hood way to learn different things that can then be transferred over to your day to day job.
