  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is apprentice early years practitioner. On a day to day basic this involves me following the EYFS system to educate young children by following the polices set out by my setting. I follow planning and keep the children’s learning journeys up to date with observations and pictures. I also complete my coursework in my own time set out by my tutor and if I need help, I can easily contact them or even ask my colleagues or managers for help.

As well as having the open door policy, they have regular meetings with me to discuss how I’m getting on. This is also the chance for me to raise any concerns I may have and they deal with them.
