I've developed self awareness and am in the process and developing project management. Safeguarding is new to me.
I'm really enjoying it and I especially like the recorded reviews as it gives you a chance to reflect and summarise the material content learned and allows you to demonstrate verbally how you are applying what you have learnt and what's worked.
Very Well, My tutor Yolande is very well organised.
100% It's important for me to manage my time effectively but they allow me the time I need to successfully complete the course. Effective communication with your line manager is key.
My tutor appears to be an expert in her field. One of my weaknesses is showcasing myself and I send her aspects of my job and evidence of tasks I'm doing. She actively demonstrates to me where these activities /skills apply or where they are transferable to. She's amazing.
Through the application of strategies from the self awareness model I have been able to improve my brain training. This allows me to manage self management and social management of aspects of my job. I generally don't feel stressed and can talk myself around most scenarios. Circles of control, my coat of arms momentarily remind me of my brand and what I'm representing and role modelling. This has been invaluable to me and has boosted my confidence in a coaching capacity and I think my influence on others.
We take part in a community scheme called Giving Something Back which involves helping the community in some way. Different events are allocated dependant upon local needs that have been identified. We have culture groups with activities and I have been attending the Housing Diversity Networking programme this year. I've also been very fortunate to attend a Customer Service seminar in London to compare what's going on in the industry and who's doing what.
