My team "manage" and monitor an application used for stock lending/borrowing. our clients (Front Office) address to us when there is an issue, or when they need new features in order to comply with Regulation or counterparty requests.
I have deeply improved my analytical thinking and my organization, being able to prioritize and be multitasking. I also have developed a critical thinking.
Being really work-focused, it's the kind of program that suits me the most. I enjoy the occasional events when apprentice and graduates are gathered to share opinion and ideas.
It is well organized, although I think it should be good to have some training on how the Company is structured, or (in my specific field) how Finance works and what is the company position in the Finance world.
I am fully supported. I couldn't have wanted anything better
The training provider, in the person of my Skill coach, is fully supportive and very helpful. he make sure my paper are in orders, explains what I have to do to complete the program
the qualification and the courses I attended, have given me the Technical knowledge I need. I have understood the complexity of team/company structure, I have been able to help colleagues on some java tasks.
Mostly there are networking events, Hackatons. Last year all graduates and apprentices have taken part to a fundraise event in cooperation with WildHearts. some social events are organized by senior apprentices.
Yes
It really cares about you and your personal growth
even if it feels overwhelming from times to times, because of the huge amount of things to learn, never give up. there is always support for us.
