on a day to day basic i am out on the shopfloor working along side the maintenance doing repairs, fault finding and planned maintenance.
during the time i have been working here i have learned so many stills. These are milling, turning, fluid power, PLC, welding and the list goes on. in my second year i have learned about the robots and how to fix the bigger faults.
i really enjoy the programme. i get to work with different people who can show me different skills and give me different knowledge. i get to work in different areas which gives me a better understanding of how the line works.
the first year of the programme was extreamly well organised and was structured in a way that every one got an equal change.
during my apprenticeship i have recieved a lot of support when needed.
during my apprenticeship i have recieved a lot of support when needed. we have 8 week reviews in which suported is given there as well.
i believe that my qualification through my training provider has helped as it makes me understand what is going on and makes me analyse what i am doing.
some of the apprentices are trying to organise this as it stands.
