  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • on a day to day basic i am out on the shopfloor working along side the maintenance doing repairs, fault finding and planned maintenance.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • during the time i have been working here i have learned so many stills. These are milling, turning, fluid power, PLC, welding and the list goes on. in my second year i have learned about the robots and how to fix the bigger faults.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • i really enjoy the programme. i get to work with different people who can show me different skills and give me different knowledge. i get to work in different areas which gives me a better understanding of how the line works.

  • the first year of the programme was extreamly well organised and was structured in a way that every one got an equal change.

  • during my apprenticeship i have recieved a lot of support when needed.

  • during my apprenticeship i have recieved a lot of support when needed. we have 8 week reviews in which suported is given there as well.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • i believe that my qualification through my training provider has helped as it makes me understand what is going on and makes me analyse what i am doing.

  • some of the apprentices are trying to organise this as it stands.

  • it is a great company to work for with so many benefits. the support given is amazing. it is a nice environment to work in.
