As a focussed improvement engineer I am tasked with maintaining the process plant. This includes routine, preventative maintenance as well as small process improvement projects.
I have vastly extended my skills as an engineer, learning both mechanical and electrical skills which not only help in work, but outside of work too.
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme, getting to meet people I wouldn't normally have the opportunity too, and also going on multiple team building and work related courses.
Work related was very organised, however college related was poorly organised
whenever I needed support, I always got it.
my training provider was good but not always organised (college)
The theory behind the job is what makes me understand it and perform to a high level. So I believe the qualification is very important to help me better myself in my role.
Yes, always networking events with the technology companies that provide us with our equipment.
