It was over 2 weeks where the first week was learning and gaining the experience of working in a firm and the second week was putting the skills learned in use
One whole week was dedicated in gaining a leadership qualification
I enjoyed it a lot because of the people there, I don’t think it would’ve been as fun without them because the people leading the course were very unorganised.
It was not very organised at all! The person overseeing the course did not care that it was all up in shambles. A lot of things were promised in a contract that weren’t held up and there were long periods of time with nothing to do.
I learnt a lot about the company culture and it was very interesting to learn about. There are a lot of departments and you work closely with them, you see the ins and out of working life
It helped a lot in terms of enjoyment, I thought it would be fun to go into that job sector due to the money, but I realised it’s not something I’d enjoy to do for the rest of my life
We were laid for this internship but again we weren’t paid what was told to us but then again money is money
There was tons of opportunities. At least once a day there would be a talk with someone in the sector or company telling us there experience. We have networking events after the internship is over!
Yes
You get paid for learning a new set of skills
