I have various roles on a day to day basis, these can range from a working on a wide range of systems such as robotic systems and pneumatic systems, to analysing data and writing programmes for machinery. My current main role is to support in the fixing of machinery on the shop floor but my roll changes on a daily basis.
I feel that I have developed a wide range of new skills as well as working on previous skills. I feel that my ability to work under pressure and with a team has massively improved as well as my communication. This is due to us needing to work in teams to work safely on machinery.
I really enjoy the programme which I am doing and find everyday challenging but exciting. I feel that the programme pushes me to try harder in my work and make me want to try and get the most out of what I am doing. I would definitely recommend this programme.
I feel that the programme is very well organised and structured. We have all been given set placement plans which give us an experience in different areas of the of the business at different job roles. The apprenticeship feels structured as well all know what we are doing through out the apprenticeship.
I feel that we receive a lot of support from the employer. They support us through our work in the business along with our work outside the business such as university work and extra training. The employer is always there if we have any questions or queries about the apprenticeship.
I feel that the training provider adds good support towards the qualification, they provide sufficient teaching towards the degree and are there to help if required, they provide good equipment which will help towards the degree and provide teaching which has links to the work which we will be doing in the future.
I feel that the degree which I am completing links to my role as I am learning about a wide range of electronic system as well as programming methods. The knowledge which I learn from the degree is built upon at work and there are links from the degree to my job role.
Extra training is poor oder from work. Other activities include group walk challenges, football teams as well as a wide range of Christmas parties and group activities. Extra activities such as data analysis training is provided.
Yes
I feel that the company is a great employer and provide an excellent apprenticeship which is very enjoyable but also an amazing learning opportunity especially as a degree is provided.
