On a daily basis I audit company's financial figures to ensure that the numbers presented in their financial statements are appropriate. This involves testing different areas
I have developed my technical skills using Excel, as well as relationships and leadership skills
I enjoy it as I get to put in to practice the skills I have learnt at university and apply them to practical work life. It is also a good way to experience the working world and a good uni-work balance
This is very well structured as there is a chance to put what is learnt at uni straight into practice at work
Whilst at work I receive a lot of support from PwC in all aspects- mental wellbeing, work support, social etc.
Not much interaction with ICAEW apart from for providing resources/ books to help with accredited examinations- Nottingham are very helpful with the delivery of this information
It helps me with the technical aspects and knowing the background of the job/testing I am performing
I am involved in the Jewish network which holds events occassionally. I am also involved in my business unit and get involved in quizzes etc.
