I am a preschool practitioner and my role is to provide a high quality care for all children at the setting as well as keeping them safe.
Yes I've learnt a lot of new skills including understanding the child's development and I've developed my communication skills, confidence and teamwork.
I enjoy my program very much as it allows me to work and learn at the same time and I receive a lot of support from my tutor and Paragon Skilks.
My program is very well structured I receive ongoing support from my tutor who sets my tasks and learning as well as gives me constant support and reassurance. I feel I can manage to complete all my tasks and learn a lot as well as work to build my experience.
My employer supports me very well. I am always given reassurance and advice as well enough time to learn. If I have any questions or if I need extra help I'm always supported by my colleagues and my manager.
My traing provide always gives me plenty of support and advice. My personal tutor visits me regularly at my setting as well as I can always contact her by email if I need any help or if I have any questions. My traing provide sends me regular updates and advice to ensure I'm happy.
I feel that the training and completing all my tasks and learning helps me to gain knowledge which allows me to feel more confident when I am working with children and parents.
We have regular trainings where I have a chance to meet practitioners from other setting where we can learn as well as discus our experiences and exchange ideas. Thoes activities and trainings are a great ways to learn more about my role and meet others.
