My role is to assist in the installation, testing and inspection of different electrical systems. This includes wiring circuits, installing a distribution boards and multiple other systems.
I have learned multiple new skills and also devolved existing skills I have learned through other job roles.
After a slow start to my apprenticeship I have been enjoying my apprenticeship a lot more lately.
My programme is really well structured. I receive a review every three months to check up on how I feel I am getting on.
I receive and adequate amount of support from My employer. They have been been able to give me plenty work in the past 2 years.
My training provider gives me enough support when I am at college. Whilst I have been in lock down I have been given notes to look at to prepare for college.
I feel that it helped me to learn the basic techniques for installing electrical systems
