I work as a front-end web developer at a client working as part of a small scrum team. I am often developing and bug fixing sites using a mixture of PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript.
Since starting my Apprenticeship I have found my coding skills to have been greatly increased so much that I am now undertaking work that is the same level of difficulty as my colleagues
I have found the apprenticeship to be of great help to improve my software developing skills and I have really enjoyed being part of a team.
My manager thinks I am doing fantastically and regularly provides me with positive feedback.
We have been well guided through our induction and training so far.
My training tutor only emails me about once a month with the details of the next assignment but provide useful feedback on my work.
If I have a problem or need advice, I can get a quick response from HR.
My travel costs to get into London from where I live in Hertfordshire are huge and on the Apprentice salary I don't seem to get much that I can save each month.
There are quite a few different events that are organised such as Christmas parties and hackathons.
