My role within the nursery is to have a responsibility for the care and welfare of all the children. This can include washing, feeding, educating and helping to develop their skills and learning.
Since my qualification I have learnt how to deal with certain situations, which before I would not have had the confidence to do, I have also achieved my Maths, English and ICT.
I felt I had a lot of support and whenever I struggled I could ask questions when needed, this made the programme more enjoyable as I felt very anxious about failure when getting started.
I felt the work load was even spread out and well organised.
My employer is very supportive and helped me with my confidence.
This was the most daunting part of the course for me, but my training provider supported me throughout the whole 12 months and especially during my exams.
Very well. Working along side doing my qualification and having two children at home was never going to be easy but I feel working and learning is the best way.
