The Insights event I attended consisted of a couple of hours where the apprenticeship manager gave lots of information about the upcoming programmes and we heard from current apprentices who work at the businesss. Lots of information was given and it was very helpful!
I learnt a lot more information about what the apprenticeships consisted of and the talks from the current apprentices were very helpful in allowing me to see the opportunities they get given. I also learnt some tips to help me with the recruitment process.
The insights day was very helpful and informative and the environment created by the employees was very welcoming. It was nice to hear different people’s perspectives of the programmes and it was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The event was very well organised from the moment I walked in, with very helpful staff guiding me the right way and everyone was very kind and caring. The networking session at the beginning was really good because it gave me the chance to talk to some current apprentices.
I learnt a lot about the culture through talking to the apprentices and by the environment created. Everyone was really positive and gave a realistic view of their day to day workings. The company culture is very welcoming and gives people a chance to be successful.
The insights day was very helpful because it gave me more information on what M+G apprenticeships have to offer and it was very helpful in my decision making. It showed me that an apprenticeship is what I wanted in the future.
No as it was an insights day which only lasted a couple of hours.
Yes there was lots of time at the beginning of the event to network with different students who had attended and also lots of opportunities to speak to different apprentices and managers about their roles in the business.
Yes
The staff were helpful not only at the insights event but also through the apprenticeship recruitment process which I have now applied for. Everything was well organised and there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions and gain more information if needed. The office was a welcoming environment which appreciated its employees and is very helpful to students.
Make sure you do some research before applying so you know as much as you can about the company itself and the programme your specifically applying for, so that you know it’s right for you. When going through the recruitment process, make sure you give specific examples to their questions so they can learn more about you aswell.
