  • Real time analyst and incident manager which involves monitoring call queues and dealing with incidents. Making sure all frontline technicians are online when scheduled to be.

  • I have developed existing skills which will benefit me in my job role like communication skills and some IT skills. The new skills I have learnt I can use every so often when needed

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoyed being with the other apprentices in my class and being able to leave work for the day to get my head down and complete the work at day release.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme was very mis-matched. Due to a change of tutors and different understandings of the programme. It took about 8 months to fully understand what I was supposed to be learning about.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My team and manager support me constantly and are always asking if I need time to complete my work. They make sure my apprenticeship work is top priority at all times.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I received support when I needed it. Just maybe not as fast as I would have liked. Some queries I would be waiting says for a response.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel like certain aspects of the qualification will help in my role by allowing me to use new skills and techniques, but for the most part the skills and knowledge developed is not relevant to my role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are a wide range of activities which Sage offer, making it a great place to work and there are always social events being held!

  • Yes

  • Sage is a great place to work and you build great relations ships with everyone you meet! Everyone is so supportive and there is no judgment about anything!


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Sage?
  • Be confident and understand that you will feel nervous when coming into the business as there are hundreds of people you are goi g to see about and meet. But you will gain confidence.
