i am an apprentice and on a day-to-day basis i learn about the basics of engineering and manufacturing that i will need for my future career
yes i have learnt new skills in welding, milling, electronics, fluid power and electrical installation
i enjoy my programme although there are aspects of it that could be improved to make the experience more worth while.
this is the area of the programme that requires the most improvement. organisation and utilization of the time and space provided needs to be looked at

because it is an opportunity to get into a highly qualified (if you want to take it further) and well paid career that could provide the basis for a long career in the industry
don't worry if you don't know anything about the industry you will be helped and guided through the apprenticeship so that you will have all you need to succeed
