Receptionist involving answering calls, greeting guests and booking meeting rooms. I am involved in facilities like health and safety, recycling and invoicing and often assist with catering for meetings.
I have learned about purchase orders and how to use our software for raising purchase requests and receipting. My customer service and communication skills have improved.
I enjoy the culture and environment of the company. I work closely with my team and I feel supported.
I experienced some delays and miscommunication at the start of my course, once this was sorted I was supported and organisation was better.
I receive guidance and support from my employer and assistance is provided whenever needed.
My training provider supported me when we had our 1:1s, but there was little communication or support remotely.
My qualification is different to my role, therefore I was unsure of a lot of the topics in my course and had little opportunity to put what I have learned into practice and use my own experiences to help me in my qualification.
There is always activities to get involved in, for example volunteering, social events and activities. These activities help me to get involved in other things and brings colleagues together.
