I'm a IT Operations New Associate at Accenture. I do my own learning while on the role as well as helping out the Salesforce project.
I have learned a few new schools through both college and working within Accenture. Most of these skills are web development related and have helped me gain a wealth of knowledge when it comes to web development.
I enjoy the programme as I am free to do my own learning in terms of web development and things I enjoy. I have not been particularly happy with the project I am associated with but Accenture are willing to move me around when they can.
I feel valued by Accenture as an apprentice through them providing courses for me to learn at college and university.
The programme was well organised in terms of the induction and initial training, however, it was said that apprentices could change projects/teams every 12 weeks which sometimes might not be the case.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider.
I receive a lot of support from my employer.
The salary is okay in terms of my living costs however it is a low amount while spending money on travelling to work, covering the daily costs of food at work.
There are lots of events outside of work that Accenture provide including voluntary initiatives, community events and access to gyms/clubs.
Yes
In the scheme of things, Accenture provides an excellent apprenticeship.
Research Accenture and be confident for the interviews and assessment days. After that be confident and be open to learn while starting the apprenticeship.
