As a Data Analyst I work in the business change and technology risk Team. In my role I analyse the data that we use as a business to see if we can improve anywhere.
I have learnt many new skills in my apprenticeship, which includes, data cleansing, building data models, data de duplication to name a few skills that I have learnt out of many.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship. Everyone I have come across at work and through the apprenticeship have been very nice and extremely helpful to myself, in order for myself to be able to pass my apprenticeship.
There is very good structure to the apprenticeship and I always know what is asked of me as an apprentice and what I need to do to pass the apprenticeship. There is a lot of Clarity and helpfulness throughout. I get 20% of my time to work on my apprenticeship
I receive lots of support from my employer and they are always offering their help, weather that is through providing me with extra training materials or allowing me to focus on my apprenticeship studies whilst working. They always offer their full support when I'm writing projects and completing exams
My training provider are always on hand to offer their full support, from sending me revision materials, to helping me write my apprenticeship projects and providing constant feedback. They also give a lot of Clarity of what I need to do in order to pass the apprenticeship.
I feel that my qualification gives me a lot more confidence in my day to day role as I can understand a lot more that is going on throughout work without always having to ask questions, which I wouldn't be able to do without my qualification
At work there are lots of extra-curricular activities to get involved in such as social events up London, Quiz nights and being able to join the work sports teams such as 5 a side football.

Fidelity is a great company to work for, who value their staff and try to help out as much as possible. Everybody at the company is extremely friendly and are always there when you are in need of help or just want a general chat.
When applying I would recommend just being yourself and being as honest as much as possible, whilst maintaining a professional manner. It is always best to be yourself and respect all people that are at the company no matter what their job role.
