1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a Support worker in a mental health, high dependency intensive rehabilitation unit. Caring and promoting independence for individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs, some with forensic histories.

Developed better understanding to why we care in ways that is in line with care standards and better knowledge surrounding legislations.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed researching other aspects of care, that I may not have first hand experience about in my current job role, for example having a better understanding of end of life care

Couldn't fault it at all. Really well structured

My employer has been supportive throughout.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

As much support as I needed. Always there to support in areas I was unsure of, gave excellent and positive feedback, boosting confidence when needed. My tutor was amazing.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Better understanding of my job roll, what's expected of me and how I can be the best possible support worker I can be, having the knowledge to explain things better to the individuals I care for regarding their care.

Yes, we have social events and have In the past had team building away days
