  • I am a Support worker in a mental health, high dependency intensive rehabilitation unit. Caring and promoting independence for individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs, some with forensic histories.

  • Developed better understanding to why we care in ways that is in line with care standards and better knowledge surrounding legislations.

  • I enjoyed researching other aspects of care, that I may not have first hand experience about in my current job role, for example having a better understanding of end of life care

  • Couldn't fault it at all. Really well structured

  • My employer has been supportive throughout.

  • As much support as I needed. Always there to support in areas I was unsure of, gave excellent and positive feedback, boosting confidence when needed. My tutor was amazing.

  • Better understanding of my job roll, what's expected of me and how I can be the best possible support worker I can be, having the knowledge to explain things better to the individuals I care for regarding their care.

  • Yes, we have social events and have In the past had team building away days
