I work in the Portfolio Management Office. Only a daily basis I support not only my close team members but the wider team as well. I help to manage milestones and Risks. I also take charge of generating pack, distributions and minutes.
I have learned new skills including: - VBA on excel - Confidence in speaking to new people - Presentation Skills - Milestone and Risk awareness - Learned a large variety of new language and acronyms
I find that my programme has a lot of support involved from RBS and BPP. I have really enjoyed my time so far as everyday there is something new to look at, develop or learn.
I have found my programme well structured with RBS. However, I have found BBP difficult at sometimes this is because there have now been a few different time where arranged webinars or meetings have been either cancelled last minute or attended a meeting and no lecturer has arrived and we had not been told what has happened.
I receive a lot of support form my employer. they are always going out of their way to make sure that i am happy with what i am doing, have enough time to carry out training and that i am always learning more things.
I do receive a lot of training from my provider with a well structured plan set out.
My Qualification links directly to my job role and helps and supports me all the time.
Yep, so I am part of the Great Place to Work Team in Manchester and we work together to develop great activities to bring people together and support the community. May that be either fundraising or helping out in a shelter.
Yes
As I have found it a really reliable way to develop/start my career.
Say yes to everything! There are so many opportunities out there and grab then with both hands! You never know when you will need something or someone.
