My role is to help customers with their day to day banking. For example making payments or checking balances.
My communication skills have developed as I have learnt that not everyone understands things straight away, so I have had to adapt to be able to explain and understand everyone.
I do enjoy the programme, however I feel like some of the assignments don’t actually relate to the job I do. Or that the assignments don’t help me be better at my job.
The programme is well structured but it’s not what I thought it would be. For explain, I thought I would have someone who came to teach me etc but it’s actually just a phone call every few weeks.
Not much, I’m not asked about my apprenticeship or given much time for it. Majority of my assignments are done in my own time.
I get the support I need, we have regular check ins, and he always gives me feedback on how I can improve.
I don’t feel that that the qualification helps me perform better in my role. I don’t feel that the assignments actually understand what it is that we do, for example how to handle certain situations.
Not really, we do a charity activity once a year but other than that there isn’t much else to do.
No
As I explained I don’t feel that the programme helps me to be better at my job, although it is enjoyable
Be sure to research into what the programme actually entails.
