My role in the salon involves greeting customers, making teas/coffees. Answering the phone and making appointments. Looking after customers and their welfare, as well as assisting stylists in shampooing their customers and preparation for the service
I have learned many skills in the aspect of hairdressing. I have also improved my customer service skills since starting my apprenticeship
I enjoy the program a lot, I have met many new people and am training to do something that I love and have wanted to do for years. I have been given a wonderful opportunity and the support from my tutor has been amazing
It has been very well structures as the learning plan is mapped out bit by bit and we don't move on to the next section until I feel confident with what we are currently learning
I receive a lot of support from my employer as I am always encouraged by them and I am always praised when I do good work. I am also given advice so that next time I can improve my skills
I receive a tonne of support from my tutor as she always makes sure I am confident in when it comes to my work and I alwaus feel encouraged to continue and try my best from my tutor!! :)
After gaining new knowledge on a subject provided by my training provider, i am always eager to try it out in practice
