Working on various different projects at Associate level, providing support to senior stakeholders and taking on various different responsibilities.
During my placement, I developed/learnt numerous new skills including; - Communication - Stakeholder Engagement - Customer Journeys - Technical Skills (Salesforce, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Visio)
I very much enjoyed my placement year - it gave me the opportunity to meet lots of new people & build my network. I also experienced a great sense of job satisfaction, as I was given numerous responsibilities throughout my placement. There was also the opportunity to travel as well.
Largely well organised - there was an extended period of time on the 'bench', but other than that it was extremely well organised.
I learnt a lot about the culture - everyone, regardless of grade, is extremely welcoming and always on hand to offer their support, if required.
It gave me a great insight into the Consulting, and it's something I would certainly consider moving into in the future.
Yes, I received a monthly salary and was reimbursed for all travel/subsistence expenses.
There were multiple networking events organised throughout the year, which provided me to meet colleagues from all over the UK.
Yes
My placement was extremely rewarding and would not hesitate to recommend PwC to a friend. The company culture is great, the staff are very welcoming and there are great opportunities to develop both personal and professional skills.
Do your research into PwC before applying, ensure you have a good understanding of their values and the 'PwC Professional'.
