I have a number of roles on a day to day basis, I am responsible for undertaking work on an internal platform, creating new users, applying new roles to allow users to undertake work, resetting passwords etc
I have learnt a host of new skills: People management Time management Html Java Python
I enjoy the programme, it is a lot to balance with working 4 days a week and university one day a week then having to spend most evenings doing the coursework.
At the beginning I believe it could have been structured a little better by the university but as the years have gone on and they’ve learnt how to balance it all the experience has increased ten fold
I receive a lot of support from my employer be it time to do my work, support on a subject, or helping me with university issues
I receive monthly meetings with my student liaison officer who helps me with any issues. And helps me set goals and targets
I believe the qualification helps me with my people skills and my managerial skills. However the route I chose to go down is no longer relevant for the route I’ve gone down within my company
My work host a number of events where we can network and meet with our teams in an out of work environment, they also sometimes set up sports teams and clubs etc to help socialise and meet new people.
Yes
A great people culture they look after there colleagues and make sure that every colleague is valued and looked after.
Be yourself, try learn about the company itself and where it started to where it is now. Enjoy the process
