I am an apprentice healthcare engineer, working on diagnostic machines, within a hospital or private labs. I go to different sites across Scotland fixing whatever problems or issues that customers are facing.
How to fault find effectively, how to deal with customers properly and lots of engineering skills
With me being in the last year of my apprenticeship I thoroughly have enjoyed my time and would recommend an apprenticeship within Siemens Healthineers to anyone who is interested in engineering
Very well structured as we have an apprenticeship coordinator.
I receive a great level of support as they always check in and make sure you are progress ok
My training provider could be better at communicating but other than that they help me when they can
I feel like I perform to a high standard in my role but I would say this is because of Siemens Healthineers as my training provider is more written and my job is more working on site and about gaining experience
Not that I know of
Yes
They treat there staff brilliantly and help you out whenever possible
Make sure you have a good knowledge on the company and are interested in engineering
