I provide IT support to users within the company who have an IT issue or queries either on the phone or via tickets. We also provide access to systems that users require access to.
Yes I have learnt a few new skills and have also developed some of my soft and hard skills on top of that. It has also help with confidence and other skills like that.
I enjoy my apprenticeship on my employers side however there has been issues with the course provider.
On Sage's side the support and training i receive is very good. I have received excellent support from my Colleagues who have helped me develop and understand my role better. The course provider has had a few issues and has not been very well organised as it took 3 Months after i started for them to inform me on what i needed to do for them when the deadline was within a week.
My Employer provides lots of support whether this is through my manager, My colleague who has helped me develop and guided me through anything I didn't understand, or even someone else on my team or within the business.
My Skills coach helps me a lot and guides me when needed.
A lot of the things I learn through my provider are things I've already picked up while working. It does help me better understand how it works.
Yes, there are charity events, Christmas parties, office parties, etc.
