My role as a health care assistant and care provider, it is my duty of care to look after my individuals and make sure all their mental , physical and spiritual needs are met to the safest and highest standard. Providing love and compassion and creating a nice environment .
I have learnt many new skills in my Job role and developed existing skills, I have been sent on many different training courses and continue to progress my knowledge. Being new to health and social care I could write a long list of new skills I acquired !
I am enjoying my programme very much and learning new things , my personal tutor is wonderful and very helpful!
Very well organised , I feel at ease doing my work knowing that there is always extra support when needed, my tutor is always there to help and support me ensuring I progress in my knowledge . Having due dates with work also helps you keep on top :)
I receive reasonable support from my employer and they do help me gain more knowledge when needed. I could possibly do with abit more support from them in which and where the course can lead to .
I receive lots of support from my training provider and know that she is always willing and able to help me or answer any questions I my have, I feel very much at ease with her and know she helps me to progress further and push boundaries :)
I feel this helps me within my job role as it makes me understand the knowledge behind the things I am undertaking at work and the legislation behind many things, even the little courses such as how to manage stress! Very useful in my everyday work
We do have a few social activity’s that we are able to take part in and help us maintain positive working relationships , these include staff meetings and party’s.
Yes
They are reliable and friendly and very good at giving advice when needed, they provide everyone with the correct and appropriate training to ensure everyone is up to date and working safely. They also offer support such as counselling and staff party’s to ensure our well being is looked after well.
