On a day-to-day basis I work a normal job. Every year I move role and location for 3 years.
Yes I have learnt all accountancy skills and IT skills from scratch really.
I do enjoy the programme, although changing role every year is good- I think moving location isn't as enjoyable.
Relatively structured- Covid 19 has impacted it but on a day to day basis I just work for my line manager.
My line manager helps me with any questions about my role I have, and my Kaplan mentor tries to help with any questions about other issues regarding my accountancy qualification
Not that much really, could defiantly be improved. As the person giving me the advice hasn't done the qualification themselves.
Yes it defiantly helps in understanding things and making decisions myself, as I can use the theory learnt in qualifications to help my judgement
Yes there is a few sporting activities which I have got involved in.
Yes
It's such a big company, you can go working anywhere around the world so easily. Also in recessions etc your a lot more confident that your role will still exist through it than the average person at any other company!
Be yourself, I found it wasn't all based on academics. Which I would have presumed originally, but instead its about fitting in and having the desire to do well for yourself and the team around you.
