I am a childminding assistant who helps to care for local children. I assist them with their development, observe their play, plan activities, help with personal care and meal times.
Yes.
I am really enjoying learning about everything in depth. After doing this course though, I would have prefered to do it in a college as opposed to home learning.
I think it is all clear what is expected and what needs to be done.
My employer is always on hand to answer any questions and if I ask something she is unsure of she will find out for me.
I have an assessor who does a monthly meeting to see what I have done and set new work if required.
I feel it has helped me in many ways and feel it should be compulsory for everyone working with children.
Yes, we meet occasionally throughout the year and have a Christmas party.

They use BUD which I think has been an amazing tool for receiving and uploading work. I really like how you can see the progress and have access to all the tasks and assignments.
Be sure you are happy to do an online course and have the time at home to study as it is very hard.
