So my role is a care assistant in a residential Care Home and I care for elderly residents who have been diagnosed with dementia. I also am a lead of documentation in the Care Home and have a lead role of championship meetings that take place.
I have learnt many new skills within my apprenticeship and have also achieved a lot too such as passing my maths and learnt new skills with the units that I have completed.
Having a very supportive assessor who has helped me learn and achieve a lot within my apprenticeship.
The programme is very organised and structured and has helped me achieve great tasks that I have learnt.
I have had a lot of support from my employer and she pointed me in the right direction to finish my level 3 qualification.
I have had lots of great support from my training provider, helping me to understand and learn the different units that I have had to complete my qualifications.
I feel like my qualification has given me lots of things I have learnt ready to achieve better within my role. Also I am still learning lots as I’m completing to achieve my qualification.
There has been some activities at work that have helped me achieve and learn within my role at the residential Care Home.
