My day to day role is to look after the children, plan activities, make snacks and dinners, tidy, clean, attend staff meetings and take part in training.
I have learnt how to complete planning, observe children and learning new craft activities.
I have enjoyed learning new skills and extending my knowledge.
I found Bud extremely useful and very easy to follow.
I feel like i was not supported hugely as they would struggle to find time and the staff to cover me for meetings with my assessor.
My assessor helps me greatly! She also has extra support there if i need it and can reply to any questions I might have almost straight away over email.
I feel like it does support my job role as I have learnt things I probably wouldn't of learned inside the setting.
The owner of the nursery would host a party for all the staff members and I would also meet my co-workers on the weekends
Yes
Very useful and supply you with the support you need to complete your qualifications.
Always make a good first impression in the interview.
