Android App Developer - Day - 2 - Day can vary quiet often as we move to different projects. Its very exciting we get to work with all kinds of new technology. For example we have not long finished working with the Google Glass ( Now discontinued ). We use Mac computers to write code and test out apps on our phones. Its a great learning curve
Since Joining Accenture 5 months ago I have learned the following New skills: Google Glass Develpment Scrum ( Agile) TDD Git Gerrit RTC Jira JSON Rest API JSP HTML XML SQLite MySql SHA1 + Salt
I genuinely believe I have a career for life with Accenture, I love my Job and the working environment
I feel like a very valued member of the company not Just a single colleague. We all have strengths and weakness. Accenture will find your strengths, Help you grow technically and personally. They will help you iron out weakness and give vary fair feedback.
Agile.. Say no more. Its very structured.
Where help in training is concerned. You constantly have somebody to ask your question, The team are very friendly and we have college lecturers and NVQ Assessors' all waiting incase you are ever having trouble.
They day you start Accenture you will be allocated a career councillor, We have a 24/7 telephone support all confidential if you need it. Line managers and Apprenticeship leaders are all available to help support you if you feel like you need it.
Salary in the first year is competitive. Second and third year is a lot better than most apprenticeships. £2000 Handshake at the end of the apprenticeship is also a nice Touch!! Not just the salary, Free tickets to Football, Theatre, large amount of other things. company nights out and xmas party are included. And NO STUDENT DEBT!!!! ACCENTURE PAY FOR YOUR TUITION!! Gym membership is subsidised, comm events every few weeks with complimentary snack and refreshments. occasionally beer/wine all company paid for. Plenty of voluntary events also.

Accenture is a dream place to work, They are very fair with there staff, They treat us with respect and decorum. The working benefits are second to none and everybody is happy to be at work. I wouldn't change my job for anything else in the world
Do it now, Not tomorrow, or next week. NOW!! you are already missing out not being here. Getting a job within Accenture is really a gift of opportunity.
