  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoy my role and course. I had previously attended university and found it wasn't for me. Earning a qualification alongside paid work is far more suited to how I learn

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The Training provider has not been the most organised throughout my course. From the beginning their organisation skills have not met expectations and this has only worsened throughout the pandemic.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The apprenticeship coordinators within the bank have been incredibly supportive and encouraging. In my day to day job my manager is fantastic and works with me to help develop my skills and manage my time. However, there is still a bit of a stereotype that apprentices are young and inexperienced (I have been in employment for several years) which means a minority of colleagues treat us as such.

    8/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I am usually able to get support from my coach when needed but sometimes my emails are left unread.

    5/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It definitely adds to my development due to the broader course content however, I learn more about my role on the job.

    7/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there are several employee led networks

    9/10

  • 9b. Why?
  • The diverse culture in the bank is great and people are encouraged to be their authentic selves
