In my day to day role I deal with customers from the English and Portuguese market. I assist customers by making any amendments in their bookings as well as making new bookings, canceling existing ones and providing customers with valuable information such as pricing, rates and tips on which products and services are most suitable to them.
Yes, my apprenticeship with Paragon Skills has helped me to develop and improve further my customer service skills by providing useful content on communication skills, how to approach problem solving with the right mindset as well as safety, diversity and other important subjects which are relevant within the customer service area.
I really enjoyed the programme as previously mentioned, it allowed me to develop my existing customer service skills as well as creating new ones. It also allowed me the opportunity of meeting colleagues doing the apprenticeship in the company from different departments whom I did not know before the apprenticeship began.
My programme is quite organised, I know this through the inductions which we had as well as the ways the tasks are set monthly, with the help from my tutor [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] I have also been able to understand more the structure of the activities which are set by Paragon.
My employer is very supportive in loads of different aspects, they give us support within our role as well as the chance to grow within the business by offering apprenticeships like the one I am currently doing, our learning and development team is fantastic and our HR and managers, mentors are always keen to help.
As previously mentioned, I believe my trainers are very professional and supportive. I can tell this by the amount of support I have been receiving from my tutor, as every activity set is explained throughout including objectives and aims as well as what is expected. I also have remote telephone calls with my tutor to check my progress which I think is very useful.
I feel like because all tasks set by our trainers are all to do with the customer service environment, it helps me a lot in my role. This is because it focus on the act of taking care of the customer's needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful, high quality service and assistance before, during, and after the customer's requirements are met.
Yes, so we have a Booking Cares group on our workplace platform where people can get involved in volunteering activities where you can get job hours off so you can help out. There are also lots of other activities, another example is the Mental Health week where the business provides lots of activities which are good for our mental health: e.g. Yoga class

Because it is a great business to work for, I have never worked for a business before that invested so much in their staff's development and well being. It does make a difference to work for a business where they have good values and ethics and actually care about their employees.
Be yourself, don't be afraid to show them who you are as they embrace uniqueness and diversity. Show them you have good morals, values and ethics that match the company's values e.g. being different, having fun, enjoying doing things together and being honest to others and yourself.
