As a defence manufacture fitter /fabricator In Rolls-Royce I maintain and build parts from military aircraft, when parts require to be refurbished we use our engineering solutions and equipment to ensure the parts are up to their strict specification, i use many manual tools throughout the day including air equipment, lifting equipment and also frequently use very specific and specialist equipment to carry out the required task. With this we also interact with ever larger advanced technology like robotic linishers.
I have learnt many new skills in the apprenticeship, including both manual and technical skills, ranging from using a variety of handheld air tools, to learning advanced maths equations and even simply health and safety regulations and legislations
