Day to day role varies depending on the client you are working with. For instance I wake up at 8:30 and logon to start work by going through my work. At 9am sharp I start to work with an meeting to discuss the work we will be doing for the day. After the meeting is complete I will start to get on with the individual tasks that were assigned for me to complete in the day.
I have learnt many different skills from working here. I never had a coding background when I joint but now I am able to code in 4 different languages. I have also learnt so many different transferable skills such as communication and writing. I have also learnt the importance of keeping trails of convocations you have had for example email trails to ensure that if any issues may occur I have proof of what I am stating.
I enjoy the programme good as I get a free degree from working for Accenture. I get one day off a week to go to uni and learn and then 4 days to work on a client site. I wish there was more time to study as sometimes uni work can be given to you all at the same time with the same deadline, which can be stressful. I also enjoy the Christmas party you get to go every year at work.
I think the programme is structured well, however sometimes it feels like we might not be discussed enough as an apprentice, due to not being able to be promoted for the three years you are working with them. This can lead to frustration for lack of understanding between managers and the apprentices as we feel sometimes they don't understand are point of view. However they have recently changed the structure of the people working within the programme which has lead to be being able to communicate to the correct person we need to and also to help eliminate any miscommunication.
The support given to apprentices from the employer is a lot. As a new structure of the people work for the programme has changed it has allowed for apprentices to have more people to seek help from if they feel they need it. I You can also ask help from the university if you feel like you need more help understanding the work you are doing. There are many channels to seek for help not just in the apprentice subcom team but also within the whole business.

I do feel sometimes the University doesn't want to support the issue you have due to lectures being busy with so many other university students
Depending on the role you are currently working on, it may benefit you to feel more qualified for the role you are working or it may not make a difference. This is due to the fact that you do the same two modules throughout the year and then have two block module weeks in which you learn a whole university module in. If the module you are learning in university has relevance the it which benefit you in the role you are working.
There are many different extra curricular activities you can get in involved in within Accenture and the university of UEL. The university has different societies you can join in your free time. At work you also have societies and groups of people that you may have similar views on things, which you might want to join. For example in Accenture you have different religion groups that you can join if you wish to know more about the religion or to hang out with people with the same religion as yourself.
Yes
I would recommend someone to Accenture due to it being a great place to work and I would also recommend this programme as you get work and get a free degree out of the apprentice. If you work hard for the three years you also get a guarantee job once you complete you programme with a chance to go to a boot camp in Indian for a month to meet new graduates and to learn and develop new skills too.
If you are applying for Accenture I recommend that you research the business as its important to research the work they have done before to see if it might be interesting to you and that if the business is something you would like to get into. Accenture isn't a working place for everyone but if you research them and enjoy the types of work they do then you will love to work here. Also research about the business ethics and goals as its important to know for an interview.
