Managing projects, creating projects plans including risk registers, communication plans and assessing governance. I am responsible for allocation roles and responsibilities to people and following up on agreed actions
A bit of both. I had existing skills in management, leadership and teamwork but didn’t have the knowledge of managing projects or the theory behind it. I have developed my skills greatly in this
I enjoy the programme because it is challenging but also motivation for my career goals. I have a really great support from my trainers and also the member of the class also support each other
It is well structured. We have a classroom session every month with reviews and catch up sessions in between. In the classroom sessions we are given handout booklets that we can make notes on and can take away with us
My employer has been brilliant. They provide me with all off my off the job time. They have provided me a mentor and are available any time I need help with something.
I receive as much support as I need. If I am unable to attend a classroom session then they book in another session to catch me up. The work is set on my e portfolio and the trainer is available if I need any extra help
It has helped me perform better as it has helped me to understand everything that goes on in the back ground of project management. Before starting this qualification I didn’t have a clue about project plans, governance etc but now I have all of that knowledge
No
Yes
Because I have had a great experience on my apprenticeship and my employer is great at supporting progression
Go for it, it’s the best place I’ve ever worked
