i work in commercial support meaning i take the admin from relationship managers to serve commercial business customers daily, doing tasks such as account opening, data amendments, payments, standing orders and answering acc queries.
i have learnt better communication as i work with a range of colleagues and serve a variety of customers. i have learnt better time management as there are certain deadlines with the range of tasks i complete and some of these need completed in a certain time frame
well it took a while before my programme actually got started and we started to meet with our trainer which has been going well so far we are getting through the work quickly. the information we are going through i have been covering off within my role as i have worked in my team since july 2019 so there hasnt been anything nice so far which gives confidence in my answers
mine was late to get starting as we originally went over to edinburgh in oct for the introduction and we had a phone call with our organisers who told us we would meet them face to face before christmas and then was told it would be january but it wasnt actually until my line manager chases then in April to ask when we would be getting started. It also took a very long time for me to get my learning through after registering for my personal bankers i had to get that chased up as well
we have been given allocated time to complete our studies and have been told whatever we need to come to my line manager or my trainer.
my trainer has given us plenty of help and support when it comes to completing our modules offering great answers or ideas when it comes to supplying portfolio evidence
at the minute we are doing the financial services modules which has been information i have covered with experience in my role but soon we will be completing the customer service modules which will be hoping very informative and will guide me on how to better treat my customers
yes with ulster bank there are are occasionally talk and meetings held with guest speakers as well as events such as the sports and social club put on like they had a comedy club zoom evening arranged during lockdown.
Yes
yes i would if that was the line of work they wanted to go but there isnt much career development if they wanted to branch out to another area
do your research, look into the business as a whole its values and make sure the role is something you want to do
